"Marilyn, NYC" is one of my oil on canvas with gold leaf paintings. I wanted to portray Marilyn Monroe looking happy and relaxed with NYC skyline on the background as this was her favourite city and the place she would have loved to retire, eventually.
Her necklace is made of gold leaf while the urban graffiti background wall is textured in acrylic paste.
The painting is signed on its back and comes with certificate of authenticity.
