Work carried out on December 4, 2022 and belonging to the project Los renglones torcidos.Los renglones torcidos is a set of paintings with different techniques and formats in which the problem of the visual representation of images from diffuse borders, between memory, is posed. and contemporary dynamics. I have taken, as a model, old photographs from the 19th century of the psychiatric patients of the Salpêtrière hospital in Paris and the former Surrey Lunatic Asylum in the United Kingdom. These photographs were taken, respectively, by the considered father of modern neurology Jean Martín Charcot and by the psychiatrist and photographer Hugh Welch Diamond.
