Laporta is a painter of an admirable simplicity and at the same time of an unusual force. Its pictorial universe include from the feminine world to the nature with representations of some and typical Mediterranean summer fruits. Representative it is the watermelon (meló d’alger in catalan) like a symbol of fertility, the melon and transformed apples.
