Filiberto Montesinos Castañon was born in 1972 in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, in the Mexican state of Chiapas. He began studying painting techniques at the age of 10 at the cultural centre of the city of Cintalapa in Chiapas. Filiberto detains a master degree in business administration from the Centre of Professional Studies of Chiapas “Fray Bartolomé de las Casas”.
