"Sun of the Copse"

I decided that #0879 "The Copse" needed a larger format so why not go all the way to 3x4 feet? I want to include the best elements of the sketch while preserving the spontaneity and energy of the small plein air work. The title is a pun on the word "son" since this is the large offspring of the sketch. Sometimes the kids get much larger than the parents. I also moved the glow of the sun into the upper right focal point which should be the destination of the viewer's eye.
