This was my second music-inspired painting. It tries to express the high-emotional tension of Puccini's Opera Third Act. It presents a pure-love situation, full of lyrism and intensidade, the incredible madness of an intense passion.
It took months for me to finally realise it was finished, I have just left it hanging on the wall not having the courage to sign it. Every time I looked at it, I felt a mix of hard-to-describe emotions, varying from plain admiration to full repulse. Although it looks simple in concept, almost childish, if you look close enough you will see my guts in there.
