I had a chance to join the local event in small village called Kojetice in Czech Republic. The local people there are not usually meet foreigners especially Asian. They don’t speak English but I can feel honesty and curiosity of them.
During the event, they provided beer and traditional barbecued suckling pig. It was fun and there was mini concert of teenage bands in the village.
I was created this painting in my mind while I watched one woman she came to dance on the floor alone. When the music started and it’s like she love and into music, she came to the floor and start dancing by her own surrounded by people who sit and stared at her but she didn’t care. On the other hand, she was indulged into music. I feel like she reached the true happiness and freedom at the moment.
This painting is the half-naked woman dancing on the floor. The half-naked means revealing who you are without caring of gossip, fashion or rules in society. The long waving skirt is enjoying freedom to live.
