I painted this oil color a decade ago. The NASA's COBE misión was intended to solve the question of the Cosmic Background Radiation. If the radiation was too uniform, there was no chance to form the mater around us. If there was no uniformity, then it should form the mater and energy around us.
As the results showed, there was a variation in lumps of the CBR. So there was a Big Bang enough to say that this universe has mass for Galaxies, stars and planets.
Now days, further missions were showing this no-uniform Universe in more detail.
the COBE CBR is represented in the eye's pupil looking at God's Grace emanating from His Hands.
