This is the son of #0966 "Flagged Pines" which was one of my favourites plein air pieces from the spring of 2008. I think it deserved a larger format and more paint so that is what I endeavoured to do. Time will tell how successful this effort will be. I changed the granite to that of an orangey-pink that is found along the Thousand Islands Parkway.
