this singular majolica box is entirely hand made and finished on potters wheel. It’s good for jewellery, as candles holder or for anything else you can think of but food. The lid fits perfectly with the irregular undulation of the base creating just one shape. Carved in a particular way to let the object acquire a double undulation. The multi – layered leaded glazes process allows the black glaze to mix with blue, pale blue and stain oxide copper green acquiring shading off dark silver. Dishwasher safe. The number below shows it’s hunicity.
