Claudia Fuentes (Holguín, 1993) is a Cuban visual artist living in Cuenca, Ecuador. With a background in clinical psychology, her work is dominated by an introspective vision, by way of catharsis and personal research.
Through techniques that navigate between digital and analog illustration, her work is oriented to the expression of emotions through the exploration of the female image in its various forms. Using primarily acrylic, silkscreen and fine art, Claudia perceives art as a tool to get closer to her most genuine self and to the everyday feelings that we human beings share.
