On a warm summer day in September, you walked along a city street. Not a big café, just a couple of tables on the sidewalk. Everything pleased you: the sun shining through the foliage, the quietness and comfort of the old city. You sat down for coffee...and just felt grateful. Grateful to the barista, grateful to the waiter, grateful to the universe for the opportunity to be alive.
The background alone in this picture required more than 40,000 strokes, which took 20 hours of meditative concentration. The entire work on it lasted three weeks.
"Enjoy Simple Things". This is a series of paintings where I try to express how I see the world, and communicate with the viewer on an emotional level, hoping to capture the moment on canvas. In my paintings, I try to convey the joy of existence, the beauty that arises from simple things, whether it's a person, a corner of nature, or a remembered dream. My inspirations come from my life experiences, the work of other artists, events, people, and places around me. I put a piece of my soul into each artwork, and in that moment, all my fears and troubles disappear. It's an amazing feeling when other people can touch my heart and my soul through my paintings. The real painting looks much better than the photo, which is not able to adequately show the colors, texture, and sensations of the live painting.
