Creo no equivocarme al considerar que, para todo amante del cante flamenco, Camarón de la Isla supone uno de los mayores referentes, si no el mayor. Fue una leyenda en vida y lo es mucho más después de muerto. Ese gesto de apretar los ojos mientras deja escapar un susurrante quejío, al compás de las palmas, definen mucho la personalidad de este genio, en el escenario, y así he querido inmortalizarlo en mi lienzo.
