This enchanting coloured pencil drawing depicts a graceful flamingo in a vibrant, colourful setting. Soft, pastel tones have been used to create a dreamy and ethereal atmosphere. The delicate pink colour of the plumage is detailed with fine lines, giving the bird an almost translucent quality. The flamingo's long neck and characteristic beak are clearly recognisable and lend the picture a realistic touch. The lower part of the picture shows a water surface in blue and turquoise tones, in which the flamingo is reflected. This reflection enhances the visual impact and depth of the composition. Born 1967 in Zurich, Switzerland, first exhibition 2003, in 2006 I began to paint oil colour on velvet. I like to play with the structure from the velvet. There is a special effect on the painting with velvet.
