This fascinating coloured pencil drawing presents a colourful, geometric design reminiscent of an artistically designed church window. The composition is in the form of an arch that blends seamlessly into a dark background. In the centre of the picture is a complex mandala-like pattern. The colour palette is vibrant and varied. The colours are carefully placed to create a harmonious yet dynamic overall picture. White areas between the coloured segments enhance the contrast and are reminiscent of the lead frames of traditional stained glass windows. The lower part of the design tapers to a point and contains larger, triangular shapes that add depth and movement to the image. Overall, this work of art radiates a meditative, almost spiritual atmosphere.
Born 1967 in Zurich, Switzerland, first exhibition 2003, in 2006 I began to paint oil colour on velvet. I like to play with the structure from the velvet. There is a special effect on the painting with velvet.
