The painting shows a fascinating depiction of our planet Earth at night from the perspective of outer space. Overall, the painting conveys an impression of the beauty, fragility and uniqueness of our blue planet as it appears from the distance of space. It invites the viewer to reflect on our place in the universe and the preciousness of our earthly home.
Born 1967 in Zurich, Switzerland, first exhibition 2003, in 2006 I began to paint oil colour on velvet. I like to play with the structure from the velvet. There is a special effect on the painting with velvet.
