The painting shows a fascinating depiction of Uranus. It is an impressive oil painting on a dark background that captures the majestic beauty and mystique of this distant celestial body. The planet dominates the centre of the picture as a large, blue sphere. The surface is painted in various shades of blue, from deep, dark blues to lighter, almost turquoise-coloured hues. Born 1967 in Zurich, Switzerland, first exhibition 2003, in 2006 I began to paint oil colour on velvet. I like to play with the structure from the velvet. There is a special effect on the painting with velvet.
