Mientras lees el título, sabes que mi inspiración para este vino de Escher. Me encanta lo que hizo. Sus formas, sus figuras, todo, ¡pero necesitaba añadir color! Los rostros utilizados en esta pintura son de Dana International, ganadora del Festival de la Canción de Eurovisión en 1998 y Conchita Wurst, ganadora del Festival de la Canción de Eurovisión en 2014. Dana es transexual y Conchita es una farsa. Las diferencias son que ser transexual significa que la persona ha tenido una operación y ha cambiado su cuerpo, mientras que Travesti significa que es solo una forma de vestirse diferente. Creo que en el mundo todavía puede haber algunas confusiones sobre ese tema. Con este cuadro me gustaría que la gente abriera más los ojos. ¡Y después aceptar y dejar a cualquiera como quiera ser! Estoy seguro de que el mundo gay es mucho más colorido que el real, la mayor parte del tiempo. Pero también hay mucho odio, odio hacia aquellos que son y actúan diferente. Para mí es como si esos haters estuvieran diciendo que odio el color. Y vivir la vida en blanco y negro no es una opción en mi opinión. Coloqué un pez con un cuento de un pie humano, que según cuentas tiene seis dedos. La gente me ha estado preguntando ¿por qué? Mi respuesta es, ¿por qué no? Las cosas son como son, no somos capaces de cambiar todas las cosas. Si tuviéramos seis dedos, podríamos cortar uno, porque todos tenemos cinco en cada pie. A veces hay que hacer cambios. Entonces, si quieres hacer un cambio, ¡primero mírate en el espejo antes de juzgar a los demás! ¡Vive, deja vivir y vive el color!


As you read the title, you know that my inspiration for this one came from Escher. I love what he did. His shapes, his figures, just all, but I needed to ad color! The faces used on this painting are from Dana International, the Eurovision Song Contest winner from 1998 & Conchita Wurst the Eurovision Song Contest Winner from 2014. Dana she is a Transsexual and Conchita she's a Travesty. What the differences are is that being a Transsexual means that the person have had a operation and changed their body, while the Travesty means, it's just a way of dressing differently. I think in the world there still might be some confusions about that subject. With this painting I would like people to open up their eyes more. And after accept and leave anyone the way they want to be! I am sure that the gay world is a much colorful one than the real one, most of the time. But there's also a lot of hate, hate towards those being and acting different. To me it is as if those haters are saying I hate color. And living life in black and white is not an option in my opinion. I placed a fish with a tale of a human like foot, which as you count have six toes. People have been asking me why? My answer is, why not?! Things are how they are, we're not able to change all things. If we would have six toes, we could cut one of, because all of us own five on each foot. Sometimes changes need to be made. So if you wanna make a change, first take a look in the mirror before judging others! Live, let live and live color!
