This fascinating oil painting depicts the Small Magellanic Cloud. At the centre of the painting is a large, amorphous structure in shades of blue and grey, surrounded by golden and ochre accents. Scattered throughout the image are bright white dots and star-shaped structures. Some of these stars have a bluish glow, which gives them a special luminosity. The contrast between the dark, almost black areas of the background and the lighter, glowing elements creates a dramatic effect. The colour palette, which ranges from deep black through blue and grey tones to gold and ochre, reinforces the impression of a mysterious, cosmic space. Overall, the painting conveys an atmosphere of vastness, mystery and the infinite beauty of the universe.
Born 1967 in Zurich, Switzerland, first exhibition 2003, in 2006 I began to paint oil colour on velvet. I like to play with the structure from the velvet. There is a special effect on the painting with velvet.
