This is one of the few paintings I did twice. The first one I sold, but I liked it so much, so I decided to do another one. Because the original painting is done in a classic style, I learned a lot while working on them.

I was visiting Berlin and we visited most sight seeings over there, including some palaces. When I took home some flyers I found the photo from the original painting and started doing some research on her.

Dutchess Louise of Mecklenburg Strelitz (Luise Auguste Wilhelmine Amalie / 10 March 1776 - 19 July 1810) was Emperor of Prussia as the wife of King Frederick William III. The couple's happy, though short lived, marriage produced nine children, including the futures Monarchs Frederick Williams IV of Prussia and Wilhelm I, German Emperor. Her legacy became cemented after her extraordinary 1807 meeting with French Emperor Napoleon I at Tilsit she met with the emperor to plead unsuccessfully for favorable terms after Prussia's disastrous losses in the Napoleonic Wars.

Retrato De Una Rica (Emperadora Luise)

Esta es una de las pocas pinturas que hice dos veces. El primero lo vendí, pero me gustó tanto que decidí hacer otro. Debido a que la pintura original está realizada en un estilo clásico, aprendí mucho mientras trabajaba en ellas.

Estaba visitando Berlín y visitamos la mayoría de los lugares de interés allí, incluidos algunos palacios. Cuando me llevé a casa algunos revistas de informacion encontré la foto de la pintura original y comencé a investigar un poco sobre ella.

La Duquesa Luisa de Mecklemburgo Strelitz (Luise Auguste Wilhelmine Amalie / 10 de marzo de 1776 - 19 de julio de 1810) fue emperadora de Prusia como esposa del rey Federico Guillermo III. El matrimonio feliz, aunque de corta duración, de la pareja produjo nueve hijos, incluidos los futuros monarcas Federico Williams IV de Prusia y Guillermo I, emperador de Alemania. Su legado se consolidó después de su extraordinario encuentro de 1807 con el emperador francés Napoleón I en Tilsit. Se reunió con el emperador para solicitar, sin éxito, condiciones favorables después de las desastrosas pérdidas de Prusia en las guerras napoleónicas.
