Es una apropiación de la obra de Cronos devorando a sus hijos, del pintor Francisco Goya, perteneciente a la serie conocida como pinturas negras. Aquí se pone de manifiesto el filicidio y el infanticidio, haciendo analogía directa con la famosa pintura del artista español, y bajando el mito a un plano contemporáneo político/social donde escenarios como estos se van normalizando.
