This fascinating oil painting transports the viewer into the depths of the universe. Vivid colours and dynamic brushstrokes have been used to create a vibrant cosmic scene of a supernova, which appears both chaotic and harmonious at the same time. Intense shades of blue dominate the composition, interspersed with bright yellow and gold tones that appear like cosmic streams of energy. Delicate strokes of white and lavender add an ethereal quality to the scene. The black background represents the vastness of space and is dotted with tiny white and orange dots representing distant stars. These dots surround the central spiral and reinforce the impression of depth and infinity.
Born 1967 in Zurich, Switzerland, first exhibition 2003, in 2006 I began to paint oil colour on velvet. I like to play with the structure from the velvet. There is a special effect on the painting with velvet.
