This work also describes an emotional contrast. In this case I was concerned with the contrast between calm and excitement. This is illustrated in the picture by the shallow, almost foggy background, which radiates serenity and depth. This is broken up by the concise red linear elements and gives the picture a certain tension without exaggerating.
