The name of the Astract 288 “Villa Iovis” comes from Tiberius’ villa in Capri, the translation would be “Villa Jupiter”. The composition of the painting is divided in two, the upper part with lighter blue tones and the lower part with a darker blue and green. We can see fragments of yellow across all the canvas.
