Es una obra que pertenece a la serie Olimpo que llevo a cabo a partir del estudio de diosas mitológicas griegas que formaron parte de la iconografia clásica y que ahora se presentan como una necesidad vital de la búsqueda de la diversidad y polisemia que nuestra sociedad demanda y que parecer haber olvidado.
Artemisa representa a la diosa de la caza, de los animales salvajes, de los espacios vírgenes libres de contaminación de algún tipo.. Son sus simbolos el arco y la flecha, la luna, el perro de caza...
