Nueva aproximación al mito de Heracles, sus trabajos y a los volumenes escultóricos de los cuerpos. El referente es el complejo escutórico de Heracles luchando contra la Hidra, en el Palacio de Hofburg, Viena. Éste es el segundo trabajo de Heracles, vences a la HIdra de Lerna, un despiadado monstruo acuático ctónico con forma de serpiente policéfala, que poseía la virtud de regenerar dos cabezas por cada una que le era amputada.
