This collection emphasizes the symbolism of human connection through the use of minimalism, geometry, and the handling of empty space to convey a deeply emotional message. By utilizing the simplicity of elements, it conveys a profound sense of isolation and reflection.
In my work "Soledad", I represent the essence of that feeling we all experience at some point—a visual reflection on isolation. Here, a single object, a chair, becomes the protagonist in a vast and empty architectural space. This simplicity highlights the theme of loneliness, where the surrounding emptiness symbolizes isolation. The goal is to create a visually serene but emotionally charged piece.
My choice of neutral and cold colors, primarily grays and blues, seeks to evoke a sense of distance in its purest form. The simplicity of the scene is intentional because, in loneliness, what is often most felt is not what is present, but what is missing. And it is that absence that I truly wanted to convey.
