Cuenta la leyenda de Jaén...que Jasmina era una mora bellísima y la amada del Condestable Iranzo.
Quizás por celos, o por el buen trato que Iranzo daba a moros y judíos, muchos nobles odiaban a la mujer.
Tanto, que un día que el Condestable se ausentó del Castillo por asuntos de guerra, unos desalmados aprovecharon para violar a la muchacha y quemarla viva.

Su tristeza aún vaga por las almenas del Castillo de Jaén, entre sollozos. Buscando a su amado en un eterno pesar sin luz.
