Horizons Unseen reflects the idea of horizons that have yet to be discovered, the invisible and the unknown that the future holds for us. The piece presents an empty bench, suspended on the edge of a cliff between two rock formations, and is intended as an invitation to introspection, to pause and contemplate what we cannot yet see.
The void beneath the bench symbolizes the uncertainty we feel in the face of what has yet to happen, while the rocks represent the stability and foundations upon which we rely in life. The horizon bathed in warm light suggests hope, a promise of new opportunities yet to be revealed.
I wanted the viewer to project themselves into this space, to feel that the bench is there for them, inviting them to take a moment and face their own "unseen horizon" from a place of reflection and openness towards the future.
