Art in the Forest, I wanted to capture the fusion between the serenity of nature and the enigmatic presence of art. By placing a human head sculpture in the heart of a dense forest, I aimed to represent how art, despite being a human creation, can integrate and find harmony within nature.
The forest, with its tall and silent trees, feels like a refuge, a secluded place where one can escape the noise of the modern world. The rays of light filtering through the foliage create an almost sacred atmosphere, inviting quiet reflection. I wanted those rays to feel like little divine touches, highlighting the spiritual connection between art and nature.
The central sculpture, which appears to be silent, represents the idea of contemplation. It’s as if it’s meditating, at peace with itself and its surroundings. The contrast between the hardness of the stone and the softness of the flowers and vegetation around it is intentional: I wanted to show how the artificial and the natural can coexist in a silent but powerful dialogue.
The whole piece invites the viewer to pause, take a deep breath, and reflect on their place in this delicate balance between human creation and the majestic simplicity of the natural world.
