Navaratna es una palabra en sánscrito que significa "nueve gemas" y estas son:
diamante , perla , rojo coral , hessonita naranja granate , zafiro azul, crisoberilo ojo de gato, amarillo zafiro , Esmeralda y rubí
He intentado graficarlas en blanco y negro en este mandala atípico. Y digo atípico porque normalmente en el centro del mandala es lo que más destaca con una figura de intenso poder simbólico. Sin embargo esa figura central existe de forma oculta...¡Es el bindu! o punto inicial de toda la creación.
En las cuatro esquinas del mandala principal hay otros mandalas que complementan al principal.
