This oil painting shows a peaceful landscape scene of a wheat field. In the foreground are detailed painted ears of wheat that seem to sway gently in the wind. The technique of oil on velvet is very rarely used as it is very time-consuming and difficult.
Born 1967 in Zurich, Switzerland, first exhibition 2003, in 2006 I began to paint oil colour on velvet. I like to play with the structure from the velvet. There is a special effect on the painting with velvet.
