This oil painting shows a lush, tropical landscape with a large tree with a thick, light green trunk and a dense, dark green crown. The branches and twigs of the tree are depicted in a flowing, almost organic manner, giving the tree a lively and dynamic appearance. Various tropical plants grow around the tree. In the foreground you can see large, feathery leaves of ferns or palms, painted in rich shades of green. The ground is painted in warm shades of yellow and brown, creating a strong contrast to the lush green of the vegetation. A hilly landscape stretches out in the background, painted in various shades of green and conveying an impression of depth and expanse. The sky is painted in delicate shades of blue and white, with light cloud formations rounding off the scene. The use of light and shadow gives the painting depth and dimensionality.
Born 1967 in Zurich, Switzerland, first exhibition 2003, in 2006 I began to paint oil colour on velvet. I like to play with the structure from the velvet. There is a special effect on the painting with velvet.
