Ice crystals on the window
What could be more romantic than a view of a winter landscape through a window covered with ice crystals? Childhood memories of Christmas fairy tales come back to life. A crackling fire in the fireplace, baking cookies and open the last door of the advent calendar, like they do in some countries.
This monochrome, almost abstract picture draws the viewer into this winter fairy tale, through its relief-like texture, which resembles ice flowers and gives a blurred view of fir trees, fields and perhaps a lake.
