Filomena era un grajo caluroso. No le gustaba el calor, tenía problemas de sudoración y el resto de los grajos se reían de ella. Solo salía de su nido cuando hacía frío, mucho frío. Además, no le gustaba volar alto porque era miope y no podía ver la posible comida para llevar a sus hijos. Los lugareños conocían sus costumbres, por eso cada vez que la veían volar sabían que iba a hacer mucho frío y decían “Cuando Filomena sale a volar, sabemos que va a nevar”. Años después el refrán se hizo más genérico…
