Obra perteneciente a la serie de "Tabernas, tascas...del viejo Madrid" en la que se recogen diversidad de fachadas de establecimientos comerciales de los siglos XIX y XX en las que destaca la arquitectura popular de estas épocas, paredes en madera principalmente pintadas en rojo, rótulos sobre fondo negro o fachadas de azulejos de Talavera con bellas imágenes. En esta obra "Café del Nuncio" es un clásico café situado en el típico barrio de la Latina y aunque data de los años 80, nos hace trasladarnos a otra época al cruzar su puerta.
