The work was inspired by the story of Emperor Shah Jahan and his wife Mumtaz Mahal. The emperor proved that his wife deserved the majesty of the world by building the Taj Mahal after she died. Perhaps one of the greatest demonstrations of love.
When the viewer knows the story, he feels the painting and the love deep down. In this work I tried to preserve my style developed years ago, a mixture of art deco, figurative and cubism.
