Once in the eighth grade, my girl friend and I decided to skip school and have some fun at my place. We turned on the music, settled into chairs in the room, grabbed my dad's cigarettes, and sat there smoking... when suddenly my dad came home.
This painting is about adolescence, when it feels like you're already grown up, but your parents don't understand you because they're "outdated."
Series "Life in Avatar".The work is done in mixed media technique. Dutch acrylic paints Amsterdam and Italian fine-grained cotton canvas tm Unico were used. The finish is matte lacquer. The edges of the painting are painted in the same color as the background. No additional framing is required. The work is signed on the back and front and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
