No sé de qué manera (porque nunca lo estudié formalmente) aprendí a dibujar líquidos flotantes o ingrávidos. Me entusiasmé con la idea de las múltiples gravitaciones. El fondo negro representa el hecho fundamental de que lo que más percibimos en el cielo, es el vacío, la oscuridad. De hecho la luz de las estrellas y del sol no tienen tanta relevancia en el cosmos: ya en Plutón, nuestro sol lo veríamos como una estrella más. Pensé en los objetos redondos, como una clase de virus o seres biológicos, que flotan por el espacio colonizando mundos acuosos.
