We find the origin of the Fonte de Santa Xusta at the beginning of the 16th century, specifically in the year 1501. This fountain is located just behind the church of Santa Xusta, hence its name. There are also those who know it as the Rozavella Fountain.

The particularity of this fountain lies in the properties given to its miraculous waters, which since medieval times attracted many residents and visitors because they were considered curative for spiritual ailments and physical ailments.

The Santa Xusta Fountain is a spout fountain. The water emerges from a masonry wall from which the pipe protrudes. The fame of this installation made the fountain a mandatory stop at the Romaría dos Esconxuros, on the day of the patron saint Santa Xusta.
