Made from the bark of eucalyptus trees collected in the Valle de Guadalhorce during the trees annual shedding in July/August. We have developed two unique and completely individual ways to use this beautiful material. We are unable to find anyone else in the world who is making art from eucalyptus bark this way.
This piece is our second full size piece, also using the torn strip method, this time including some geometric shapes.
The rich soothing bark art is finished with a custom made deep red solid sapele wood frame.

Please contact us with any questions, more pictures and video of this piece or more information on the process we used to bring the rich, soothing tones of eucalyptus into your home.
Kalobi Art is made up of husband and wife team, Simon and Victoria. All of the eucalyptus used in our art comes from the trees in the Valle de Guadalhorce in southern Spain. We were inspired to create something beautiful during long walks by the river with our rescue dogs. We always admired the rich, soothing tones of the trees and the bark they naturally give away each year.
