Artom (Tom Booij) is active as a visual artist from 2000.

His background is partially autodidact as well as academic (Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam).

From the start he was mainly engaged with painting and photographing landscapes, always oscilated between concentration and distraction; lately a more intuitive development is taking place. His work is discribed the best as abstract - meditative. The main issue is to reach the core.
