El origami es un ancestral arte japonés cuyo basamento es la papiroflexia, que es el arte y/o habilidad de obtener figuras de seres y objetos en base a hacer convenientes dobleces en un trozo de papel.

En este caso se ha aplicado la técnica descrita, pero en un material rígido como es una placa de acero al carbón; para obtener una figura de gracilidad y fineza armónica pero con gran fuerza.

Artist information

A native of Saltillo, Coahuila, based in Santiago de Queretaro. Study in the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Universidad Autonoma de Queretaro. Later in the Free Workshop Metal Sculpture at the Museum of the City. Work the following materials: tile, ceramic paste, porexpan and steel plates. He has exhibited collectively in the City Museum in 2002, 2003.2005. He was a finalist in the Freedom Art Contest in 2000 and 2005
