Artwork description

(Roberto Juarroz)

Paramount / Parramon is the (last) painting of my series of mountains. Thousands are now conquering the peaks of the
14 eight thousands, hundreds of thousands overlook the mountains. Thinkers, poets, artists have felt and feel the call,
As Schopenhauer that in July 1804 he travelled to the Alps in search of ?direct perception of things themselves?.

Overwhelmed by the huge mass of rock and snow, marvelling at the solemnity of the White Mountains and the beautiful blue-white glaciers, the blue abyss. The overwhelming objective reality that is before it meets transcendent and eternal laws.
MOUNTAINS are also the cry of the earth to climate change with the disappearance or the retreat of glaciers worldwide.
The name of the PARAMOUNT/PARRAMON, comes from the resemblance to my having two names. PARAMOUNT PICTURES used as logo image CERVINO that located in the Swiss Alps, also is named in German Matter horn, described as the most beautiful mountain in the world by many commentators. Although there is other simpler and very similar as AGULLA of PERRAMO in the Pyrenees and at his feet brought me back this portrayal.

On this beautiful image I tried to incorporate the experience, the insight that comes a new galaxy, a new era that is being incorporated into our planet and the life of each.
As if visiting the legitimate, the energy, the law of the universe is our land, our world so badly treated by our history and our present, and of course everything comes to light illegitimate and struggle to maintain their privileges. So the land gradually acquiring new vibration anger, the truth, the light and happiness and you must pay attention. Feel what is here, like diving into the sea and be lulled by the waves.
\"Nothing can hide the infinite
His gesture is broader than history
its path is larger than life. \"(Roberto Juarroz)
