I felt inspired to paint and didn't want to loose the moment. I painted the view looking east from the front yard until the sun set. I never saw the sun through the thick overcast turbulent but I knew it had to be there because it sure got darker after it set. Light flurries accompanied the turbulent stratocumulus but not enough to turn the paint into oatmeal. I saw the last light of the day and it was indeed - gray!
