Este lugar fue inicialmente el claustro del convento vecino. Hoy parte del Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes (INBA) y es conocido simplemente por los pobladores como Bellas Artes, da su servicio en clases de pintura, dibujo, escultura, música y danza, y tiene en una de sus paredes un mural inconcluso del celebre pintor muralista David Alfaro Siqueiros quien también dio clases en esta institución
