Julio Angel Larramendi Joa was born on March 25, 1954 in the city of Santiago de Cuba. From 1971 to 1975 he studied Chemistry in the USSR. In 1980, a BA in Chemistry at the University of Havana. Gets the title of Doctor of Science techniques in 1994. Begins in photography in 1969. During his stay in the USSR receives fotografatcnica courses, scientist and artistic.
