A male lion stands in the centre and is surrounded by several smaller lion cubs. Some of the cubs are playing nearby, while others are standing close to the adult lion. The background of the picture shows a typical savannah landscape with gently rising green hills. Scattered trees and bushes can be seen, including a striking thin tree in the centre of the picture. The sky is a light blue colour, which contrasts beautifully with the green tones of the landscape. Overall, the painting conveys an atmosphere of peace and familiar harmony in the wilderness, with the majestic lions taking centre stage in the idyllic savannah landscape.
Born 1967 in Zurich, Switzerland, first exhibition 2003, in 2006 I began to paint oil colour on velvet. I like to play with the structure from the velvet. There is a special effect on the painting with velvet.
