Era un caballo rojo galopando sobre el inmenso río.
Era un caballo rojo, colorado, colorado
“como la sangre que corre cuando matan un venado”.
Era un caballo rojo con las patas manchadas de angustioso cobalto.
Agonizó en el río a los pocos minutos. Murió en el río.
La noche fue su tumba. Tumba de seco mármol
Y nubes pisoteadas.
