Una vista de Los Lagos del Dique de Xalapa, Veracruz, México. Un joven estudiante cruza el puente de peatones en ruta a sus clases en la Universidad Veracruzana. Estos preciosos lagos en donde abunda la fauna acuática silvestre quedan muy cerca del área del campus universitario. Es por eso que todos los días cientos de estudiantes bajan entre clases a disfrutar del aire puro y la naturaleza.

Lakes of the Dike 2
A view of the Lakes of the Dike in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico. A young student crosses the pedestrian bridge on his way to his classes at the University of Veracruz. These beautiful lakes where aquatic wildlife exists in abundance are situated not far from the university campus. For that reason every day one sees hundreds of young students coming down to the lakes between classes to enjoy the fresh air and nature.
Since I can remember I have had an urge to express myself artistically. As a young student, I was interested in sports, singing and theater. In my years at West Bend High School, I was selected to sing in the school choir, to play trumpet in the school band and to act in the school musical productions.
